3 Reasons Why Nag Champa Incense Sticks Are Symbolic

The second reason, closely related to this, is that the burning of incense cones, or incense oils creates a beautiful fragrance which rises with the smoke, and represents an offering to the gods. Money and other physical, material gifts can seem rather hard to give to deities, since it seems to stay where it is.
