Correct Way In Using Perfume
Perfume has been used more than the centuries to inspire, delight, and stimulate people’s sense of smell and so other needs of the human body. People all over the earth have particular scents that magnetize them or will turn them completely off. Many persons have had the experience of walking into a space where someone is wearing a strong smelling perfume and they have either gotten a headache and felt stomach-turning or have been drawn in by the loveliness. It is crucial for anyone who uses scents to understand the proper use of perfume and be able to apply it to their own use.
The Proper fragrance
A very basic matter to understand on the consume of perfume is that all scents are not lovely for all persons. Even the most expensive products will only smell their greatest on a selection of people. A person needs to take time to explore what scents are greatest with their body chemistry and with the desired effect of the perfume. If the fragrance is intended to be a pleasant smell for day to day use it will be completely not the same that a fragrance that is intended to seduce a lover.
Perfume counters at department stores are notable places to smell and sample various products before buying them. A person should take the time to smell all types in the bottles and find scents that are nice to them. Then the person will choose to try every type one at a time over several days to find out which perfume blends greatest with their body. One thing which can help to make this process go more rapidly is to learn to identify the type of each label. Some scents are flowery, some are woody, several are blended and so forth. By determining what type of perfume a person wants and defining what the various perfumes are a person can quickly eliminate many products. A expert in the industry that works at a fine perfume store can be very useful in this venture.
The Application
When a proper perfume has been found, the person should understand how best to apply the product. It is crucial that a perfume be fine and not overpowering. People who pass by should get a whiff of the pleasant smell and not be overcome by the odor. Applying a dab of smell to the pulse points of the wrists or neckline has every time been a general use. Others choose to spray the fragrance in the air and walk through so that they have a complete body application. For the woman who is intent on seduction a dab of an alluring scent in the bodice area is very successful. Some scents work well when sprayed over the hair allowing them to be more true to the unique scent and not mixed with the perspiration and musk of the person.
It is significant that the wearer not mix the scent with other lotions, shampoos and powders that have their own odor. These products should all be used in the unscented varieties or in the same scent as the perfume. Caution at all times needs to be taken to make sure the scent achieved is clean and pleasing.

Choosing a Women’s Perfume
Are you shopping around for designer perfumes for yourself or your friends and family members? Just a brisk walk in the shopping mall and you will see that there are literally dozens of brands that you can choose from. Differences in women’s perfume is usually subtle, so you have to be clear about what you are looking for. Otherwise, the plethora of brands will just overwhelm and confuse you. That makes your buying decision even harder. Here are some tips on how you can choose perfumes.
Perfume fragrances.
You are buying perfume for the lasting smell. So this is the most important factor to consider. Usually, designer perfumes are labeled with pretty names such as Addict, Dune, Poison, Accenti, Envy Me, and more. The label is meant to jump out at the target audience. So if there are any names that capture your attention, you may then proceed to sample the perfume. Here is when you decide for yourself whether you like the fragrance or not. Is it too strong? Does it suit your personality? What do you like or dislike about it? Can you see yourself wearing the perfume often? Only you know the answers to these questions. So be honest with yourself. Otherwise, your purchase may end up in the storeroom.
Designer labels.
There are no lack of designer labels for perfumes in the marketplace. You can choose to buy Gucci, Christian Dior, Cerruti, Calvin Klein, Jean Paul Gaultier, Hugo Boss, and even Britney Spears. So which label should you go for? Not an easy decision is it? If the fragrances suits you, and budget is not a concern, you can buy multiple brands of perfumes. Different brands offer different fragrances, and it keeps life interesting to be able to wear something different each time.
Bottle and package designs.
This is more important if you are considering giving the perfumes away as gifts. Women perfume bottles are usually more exquisite or elegant looking. You won’t find them in huge macho bottles. They are rather small, and can be in transparent or opaque bottles. Design is a rather subjective issue. Some designs may appeal to you, while others may not. However, it would be a good idea to not buy a bottle of perfume just because you love the bottle. It’s the substance you are after, not the bottle.
Pricing issues.
Finally, tackle the issue of pricing. If the fragrance smells right, and the bottle looks right, check if the pricing is within your budget. If it’s not, you may wish to consider waiting for promotional seasons. High quality perfume is normally associated with a heftier price tag. That’s because lots of resources have been spent on development, research, and marketing. Just a few drops from a high quality bottle of perfume can last you for the whole day. So don’t go for the cheapest bottle and expect to get the best. It’s simply not realistic.
Perfume History & Advantages
Primitive perfumery began with burning of gums and resins for incense used in religious rites of ancient China, Palestine, and Egypt. Then scented plants were incorporated into animal and vegetable oils to anoint the body for ceremonies. By 3000 BC Egyptians were importing large quantities of Myrrh.
The Greek word “aromata” described incense, perfume, spices and aromatic medicines. By the 7th century BC, Athens had hundreds of perfume shops. 1st century AD Rome was going though about 2,800 tons of imported frankincense and 550 tons of myrrh annually. The Roman Emperor Nero in 54 AD spent the equivalent of $100,000 to scent just one party he gave. The spread of Islam in the 6th and 7 th centuries helped to expand he appreciation of fragrance. Mohammed’s favorite scent was probably camphire (henna).
Arabian physician, Avicenna (Ibn-Sina) (980-1037) improved on the process of distilling oil from the petals of roses. Rose water was the first modern perfume. The first alcoholic perfume, Hungary Water was originally concocted in 1370 for Elizabeth of Hungary. During the Middle Ages, Crusaders brought the knowledge of perfumery back to Europe form the East and after 1500 Paris, France was the major center of perfume making
The Italian influence swept through France helped along by Caterina de Medici’s (1519 – 1589) marriage to France’s Prince, later to be King Henri II. Her alchemist accompanied her and set up shop in Paris. French towns, Montpellier and Grasse had established themselves as centers of fragrance providing scents for the popular perfumed gloves that were all he high style.
4711 – Reportedly the original Eau de Cologne developed in 1792 in Koln, Germany was based on a formula made by a French émigré friar. The Carthusian monk was a member of a contemplative order of the Roman Catholic Church, founded during the 11th century by Saint Bruno. Because of religious persecution, he had taken refuge with one of Cologne’s wealthiest families, the Mulhenses. The holy man gave the secret recipe for “Miracle Water” (because of its supposed healing powers) to their son Wilhelm as a wedding gift.
Wilhelm whipped up a batch and was so impressed (and so were his friends) by the refreshing citrus tonic that he set up shop in the family home and started taking orders. The scent got its name from the address number of the Mulhens family perfume shop. Cologne is the French name for the German city, and during the 1974 French occupation of Cologne, Napoleon used to bathe in a dilution of this scent. The French introduced it to the rest of the world and it’s still a popular scent today.
Founded in France in 1810, the Pinaud brand and its Clubman line of men’s toiletries can be found in virtually every barber shop and men’s club across the Unites States.
1867 the Paris International Exhibition exhibited perfumes and soaps apart form the pharmacy section thus establishing an independent commercial area for “cosmetics”
1868 was the first production of a synthetic frag 1ff8 rance, coumarin (which smells like new-mown hay). Perfumer Jean-Francois Houbigant was the first one to use a synthetic commercially. Synthetic fragrance production introduced musk, vanilla and violet odors 20 years later.
Chanel No. 5, the first expensively produced perfume using artificial scents is marketed in 1924, and yes there were bottles of samples with other numbers, but Coco Chanel liked the fifth bottle. Coincidentally, her couture collection was scheduled for presentation on the fifth day of the fifth month. Interpreting this as a good omen she used the number on the sample bottle as the name. It was the popularity of Chanel No. 5 that set off the designer fragrance industry of today.
Guerlain first produced Shalimar, an eastern style scent, in 1925
Joy, “the most expensive perfume in the world” was blended in 1926 for Patou.
Old Spice – Introduced in 1937 by William Lightfoot Schultz, a soap manufacturer in New York. It was initially for women, but changed to a man’s product the following year.
Aramis – the first men’s scent sold in department stores in 1964
Perfume and Attraction
Throughout history, perfume has been used to attract the opposite sex.
Cleopatra used jasmine discount perfume to attract Mark Anthony. Even the sails of her ships were perfumed with jasmine, so that her signature scent would waft to the shores, heralding her arrival.
Maidens then and now use musk and heavy perfume to attract their men. It makes sense though. Pheromones that are naturally produced by the body play a part in sexual attraction. Perfumes mimic the effect pheromones have on red blooded men.
Fragrances like rose relax a person. The perfume creates an atmosphere and state of mind conducive to romance. Perfume plays a part in setting a pleasant atmosphere where one can relax, and enjoy such sensual pleasure.
How should you wear perfume?
The right way to wear perfume is to layer it.
That means:
- Bathe with a perfumed soap or shower gel.
- Smooth on the perfumed lotion
- Add a drop of perfume to your cleavage.
- If your favourite perfume does not have a matching soap or lotion, you can make your own perfumed shower gel and lotion.
- Just buy some unscented shower gel and unscented lotion.
- Before your bath or shower
- Pour enough shower gel for your bath or shower into 1 small bowl.
- Add 1 drop of perfume to it.
- Pour enough body lotion for 1 application into another small bowl.
- Add 1 drop of perfume to it.
- Use that newly perfumed shower gel for your bath or shower.
- Slather on the newly perfumed lotion
- Put 1 drop of perfume on your cleavage.
That’s all there is to it. For an unfair advantage, you might want to try perfume with pheromones.
Cologne tips for Men
How can I make my bottle of cologne last longer?
If you want to maximize your cologne’s lifespan and preserve its scent, make sure to keep your bottle in a drawer, a medicine cabinet, or cupboard — anywhere so long as it’s away from direct sunlight or extreme temperatures. As well, it helps to store your cologne in a cool, dry place.
How should I apply cologne?
It is recommended that you apply cologne on pulse points such as your wrists, behind the ears, and the base of your throat. Your pulse points generate heat, which will accentuate the scent. Since fragrance rises, you should include the back of your knees and your ankles as application spots, and then work your way up. Applying cologne to your clothes will make the scent disappear after very little time (and may even stain them).
Spray the cologne onto any of these locations by holding the bottle at a distance of 15 centimeters and allow it to dry on its own — do not rub your skin after application as this will alter the smell, even if you’re dabbing it on rather than spraying.
How can I make my cologne’s scent last longer?
A great way to maximize your cologne’s scent is by “layering” the fragrance; if possible, use the same brand of shower gel, body lotion or after-shave, before applying your cologne. Speaking of after-shave, if you want to apply an after-shave whose scent differs from your cologne’s fragrance, I recommend using an unscented after-shave or balm so as not to distort your cologne’s scent.
Note: Eau de Toilette spray should last 2 to 4 hours, while Eau de Cologne should last approximately 2 hours.
How do I know if I’m wearing too much cologne?
Keep in mind that cologne should only be sensed by those who are within arm’s length of you; you’ll know if you’re wearing too much if those at a greater distance can smell you as well.
Why does cologne smell differently on different people?
The way your cologne smells on you has to do with your body’s chemistry, which depends greatly on your diet. Not only can your diet affect the way a fragrance smells, but it can also have an effect on how long the cologne lasts. A high fat or spicy diet can even intensify a discount fragrance.
Your skin type also plays a role in the intensity of cologne. For example, oily skin makes a fragrance more intense, and tends to retain the cologne’s scent for a longer amount of time than dry skin.
Whether you just can’t shake your trademark scent or are ready to trade in your familiar fragrance for something more refreshing, your application technique and storing method are essential if you want to make sure you smell as great as you can.
Give some of the six discount colognes mentioned a try — for weekend days, the office or nighttime affairs — and women will wonder who the fellow leaving a trace of sex appeal is.

I have used perfumes for more than 10 years and I would like share with you the world’s best women’s fragrances, highly rated by Top fashion magazines and reviewers, and I have chosen 5 of my all time favourites which I still use till now.
Angel by Thierry Mugler
In Paris, Thierry Mugler, age 20, was a window designer for a trendy boutique and a freelance stylist for various fashion houses. He presented his first collection in 1973, which was well received, and subsequently started up the fashion house that bears his name. His style is always avant-garde and angels are his recurring theme, symbolizing the qualities he sees in woman – soft yet strong, innocent yet seductive. His first perfume, Angel, was designed to be quite different from others at that time – essentially it should not fade away when fashions changed. Angel is classified as a refreshing, oriental, woody fragrance. This feminine scent possesses a blend of vanilla, sandalwood, and patchouli. Accompanied by fruity notes of fresh citrus, melons, peaches, and plums The bottle was to be based on a star of blue-tinged crystal, another of Mugler’s concepts, but for contrast with the coldness of the glass the perfume was to be warm and earthy, reminiscent of childhood experiences of fairgrounds, cotton candy, and chocolate mixed with an elixir of fruit and caramel. It took 18 months to devise this complicated fragrance, which is issued in up to eau de parfum concentration.
Chanel no 5 by Chanel
There is no more famous perfume than Chanel No5, which Marilyn Monroe famously confessed was all she wore in bed, and no more legendary person in the world of fashion and perfume than Coco Chanel, who in 1921 selected it from five samples given to her by its creator, Ernest Beaux. She kept the number because it was her lucky number: her collections were always shown on the fifth day of the fifth month. Chanel No5 is classified as a refined, floral, soft fragrance. This feminine scent possesses a blend of modern florals, and balanced notes. It’s long-Lasting, Great Value, Subtle, Alluring, Clean & Fresh and will draw you lots of compliments. Chanel makes all its own fragrances with their “nose”, Jacques Polge and retains special links with jasmine and May rose growers in Grasse to ensure it gets jasmine of an exceptionally high quality. For many years Chanel used a number of famous faces to advertise No5, including Catherine Deneuve (in the United States), and most recently Carole Bouquet, who is seen to represent the ideal Frenchwoman of today. It is suitable for daily use, work, special occasions and signature fragrance.
Joy Perfume by Jean Patou
Joy Perfume is launched by the design house of Jean Patou in 1930. Jean Patou was a great innovator. Born in 1887, he moved to Paris in 1910 founded his fashion and perfume house in 1919, and died in 1936 aged 49. He was essentially a man of the 1920s an 1930s and he seems to have come into the fashion world quite suddenly, for we hear little of him until he presented his first collection in 1919. In 1930, Jean Patou wanted to send a gift to his many regular international clients who he knew would be unable to visit Paris that year. He asked Almeras to create something very strong and simple, and it has to be made regardless of the cost of the ingredients. It is the quality of the rose and jasmine used which makes Joy so special; one ounce, it is said, requires over 10,000 jasmine flowers and 28 dozen roses. Joy is classified as a refined, flowery fragrance. This feminine scent possesses a blend of rare oils including jasmine and rose. But Joy does not just smell of Rose and Jasmine, it smells huge, luscious and utterly wonderful. It is suitable for daily use, work and evening wear.
Dune by Christian Dior
Christian Dior established Parfums Dior with the launch of Miss Dior in 1947. He had always been attracted to fragrances and once confessed that as a child he had never dreamed of becoming a dress-designer; his early memories of women were not of their dresses but the perfumes they wore. Altogether Parfums Christian Dior has launched 18 fragrances and Dior perfumes are always innovative, designed to set new trends. Dune which won the 1993 FiFi award for best woman’s fragrance, introduced the oceanic note which has been popular ever since and made it Dior’s best selling perfume. Dune is classified as a refreshing, oriental and woody fragrance. This feminine scent possesses a blend of amber, wallflower as well as watery notes of the fresh, cool sea air. Incredibly exudes an aura of warmth & harmony. It is recommended for daily use, work and daytime wear.
L’Heure Bleue by Guerlain
In 1828, Pierre-Francois-Pascal Guerlain opened his first little store in Paris, he began by producing different personalized fragrances for each of his clients. With his reputation growing, he gained a royal warrant from the Queen of Belgium and in 1853, his Eau Imperiale perfume delighted the Empress Euginie. He was appointed his Majesty’s Official Perfumer and went on to provide perfumes for half the royal houses in Europe. Since then, Guerlain has so many top-class perfumes and the company has produced well over 300 fragrances. But I am just going to attempt to describe the best of the lot, the L’Heure Bleue. In 1912, it was Pierre-Francois-Pascal Guerlain’s grandson, Jacques Guerlain that created this famous, innovative floral-oriental L’Heure Bleue, it means ‘the blue hour’. L’Heure Bleue is a blend of roses, iris, and jasmine. L’Heure Bleue is most certainly a feminine, timeless stunner. For women favoring subtle, slightly sweet and even less spicy fragrances, this classic scent must be tried.

The Essence Of The Desert Queen Perfume
If you’re planning a trip to the Sonoran desert, expect to experience more than the barren landscapes you’ve seen in the movies. Far more than a dry and dusty place, the desert is a colorful and dynamic ecosystem that’s home to some of the most fascinating plants and animals in the world. The Queen of the Night is one of them – a unique cactus flower that also helps make the desert an aromatic place, as this Southwest fragrance delicately perfumes the air as far as a quarter mile away!
As though its’ exceptionally fragrant blossoms weren’t special enough, the Queen of the Night cactus, or peniocereus greggii, is a night blooming cereus that only blossoms one summer night each year! Inspired by the story and delighted by the scent, Joann Petz, a native New Yorker with a career in the fragrance industry, made it her mission to capture and bottle this fragrance. She envisioned women’s perfume, as well as other bath and body products so that visitors to the Sonoran desert can take home with them the essence of this intriguing and mysterious place in a women’s fragrance unlike any other on the market today.
“When I learned of the Queen of the Night,” says Joann Petz of Once In a Bloom Fragrances, “I was immediately drawn to it. A beautifully fragrant flower that blooms only one night each year! I was at once intri gued, inspired and captivated. What does it smell like? When does it bloom? Do many people know about this flower?”
More than hypothetical questions, Joann took it upon herself to find out the answers.
The Queen of the Night blossom has a fresh floral aroma with a touch of sweetness. It blooms one night between mid-June and the first week in July. As for its popularity, the Queen of the Night is practically unknown – the desert’s most fragrant secret that lends this land some of the mystery that people travel from all of the world to see and experience for themselves. In fact, you can see people doing just that in this video of Annual Bloom Night held in Tucson at Tohono Chul Park.
Joann invited a master perfumer to the Desert Botanical Garden in Phoenix where they spent 10 days waiting for the blossom of this night blooming cereus to make her yearly appearance. After memorizing the scent, this master perfumer went into his laboratory to re-create this unique Southwest fragrance from a mixture of various essential oils for Joann’s Desert Queen® Fragrance Collection.
In addition to women’s perfume, the Queen of the Night fragrance is also available in Hand and Body Lotion, Scented Soap, Bath and Shower Gel and an Aromatic Candle.
So next time you’re in the Sonoran desert towns of Phoenix, Scottsdale, Tucson or in any various cities in the Southwest region, don’t leave without picking up the Desert Queen products at these retail locations. And even if don’t get the chance, you can now get this unique women’s fragrance in Joann’s online store.

The Lanvin Fragrance
Roundly incised in the glass, the bottle’s sober and elegant line radiates a supple but rigorous energy. Its ’soft touch’ feel shellac finish introduces the hand to a grip that is as firm as it is sensual. Its flannel-textured intense blue shade lights up the logo struck with white by its translucent shine. Graphic, geometric, the cap with its mat metallic silver arc repeats the Lanvin code of the circle within a square. Teasing this graceful opening is an invitation to play the game — of olfactory discovery. Cultivating elegance as an absolute rule for the fragrance of Lanvin L’Homme Sport which distil the manifesto of a living masculinity, imprinted with an instinctive and aristocratic fluidity. Chic and dynamic, always in action, the Lanvin Man handles a sense of style and of masculinity without equivocation. Refined and conquering, determined yet elegant, he gets his way through his natural sense of ease and assurance.
When Rafael Nadal is not winning aces on the court, he is busy being the face of Lanvin L’Homme Sport. The 22 year old tennis sensation justifies his association with Lanvin when he says, “They proposed a new, different fragrance that would be mine, that I would like. That’s how the opportunity came about, and I’m very comfortable and happy with it. I take it everywhere.”
Like a concentration of pure energy, this aromatic woody Cologne delivers a contrasting score, written with ingredients that are opposed yet complementary; whose synergy creates an aura of sophisticated virility. “Young, sporty and fresh”, in Nadal”s words. The subtle blending and the perfect balance of raw materials that are emblematic of perfumery and of masculine elegance perfectly express this modern duality that symbolizes the Lanvin man. “I always use it when I go out” claims Rafael and asserts that his favourite smell is the of the sea in Mallorca, and also of the “grass on a golf course.”

The Fragrance Fake
A real woman should have a lot of favorite perfume bottles – for different situations, different time of day, season and mood. Of course, a good perfume is expensive. Unfortunately, perfume market has a lot of fakes now, and sometimes the high price – is not a guarantee of quality. That is why you need to choose your fragrance very carefully and buy it only in good stores.
The easiest way to verify the authenticity of perfume – ask the seller a certificate of quality. However, it is not always possible to do this, but you can always follow the advice of how to distinguish a forgery visually.
Packaging
First of all, read the packaging of perfume or toilet water. On the forgery you can see different types of striking unclear printing design, for example – too small or vague inscriptions. You must remember – inscriptions on the original are always clear and tidy.
Packaging should be strong, made from cardboard or good quality paper. It should has thin (but not fat!) cellophane skintight box without wrinkles, it does not exceed the size of the box, glue is not visible. However, some producers do not use cellophane, with an emphasis on the original packaging and bottles, an effort to combat counterfeiting. By the way, beautiful expensive bottles are not just a way of expression and draw attention of customers, but also a guarantee of authenticity, the process of making a copy of such bottles is too complicated.
Inscriptions
Carefully check the inscriptions – names and details about the producer. Many producers of fakes often add extra letters in the name or change the position. For example, you can find Clema instead of Climat, Cool Winter instead of Cool Water, Genzo instead of Kenzo. The original bottle of perfume always contains the information about the country of production, date of manufacture, expiration date, and the composition of the product.
Barcode
French perfumes barcode begins with a figure «3», Great Britain – 50, Germany – 400-440, Spain – 84, Italy – 80-83, France – 30-37, United States and Canada – 00-09. At the bottom of the code you can see a serial number – the code of letters and numbers, which must necessarily coincide with the code on the bottle.
Bottle
The original glass bottle is clean and transparent; there should be no roughness, cloudiness and air balls. This perfume must not have any metal lids – such contact ruins the scent. The bottle can not be loosed inside the case, it should be pretty tight, and the applicator is usually protected with a metal ring. The requirement of transparency applies to the liquid. It must be clear. Usually the color of the fragrance ranges from pale to dark yellow. Sometimes the colors are achieved with the help of greenish, pinkish, or purple colors, but striking “chemical” color looks suspicion – if you see the fragrance of famous brands, but a bright blue or red – it is fake.
Price
Unfortunately, nowadays you can get a very good forgery, even if you are buying it in a good store is not yet a guarantee of its authenticity. Never buy a perfume on a street market, groceries, or small stores of perfume and cosmetics, and pay attention to the price, if it looks too “attractive – most likely you will buy a forgery.
Check resistance
The original perfume usually has long-lasting scent depending on the type and concentration of aromatic components.
Do you know what is the difference between the”parfum” , the “eau de parfum” and the ”eau de toilette”? First of all the perfume is more expensive. It contains 30-40 percent of the aromatic oils and therefore have the most powerful and concentrated scent, and because of the high concentration it’s enough to use just one or two drops. The aroma stays on your skin for 6-9 hours. It is better to use it as evening scent.
In the daytime enjoy perfume water (eau de parfum). It has almost the same scent as the perfume, but less concentrated. The concentration of essential oils in the toilet water is much less – 8-14%. The aroma stays on your skin for about 4-5 hours.
The most light and less lasting is toilet water (eau de toilette). The content of essential oils in it – 3-8%, you have to use it every two to three hours. But it is ideal for summer time, office and other situations where a strong fragrance is not appropriate.
Helpful Tip
Choosing the flavor comes from the time of year and mood. For the winter time, late autumn find richer, warm aromas that will warm you in cold weather. Usually they have notes of jasmine, honey, sandalwood, vanilla, cinnamon and other spices.

Spray perfume on the back of your wrists, knees and neck. And never rub, because rubbing crushes the molecules of the fragrance and ruins the scent. Some beauty editors only spritz the inner elbows and behind the knees. The fragrance stays a little more and fragrance works better.

Review for Giorgio Armani Mania Summer:
Giorgio Armani is an Italian fashion designer who is known best for his Armani suits. He has created a conglomerate of different business ventures with lines of boutiques, jeans, home collections, clothing lines, and fragrances. He might even create a hotel in Dubai. Giorgio Armani has a very decadent and sensual style. He has been a favorite in the haute couture circles for years, especially with businessmen who favored his Armani suits. His fragrances also have much of the sensuality and luxurious feel that he has endowed his fashion line with.
Mania Summer by Giorgio Armani is a lighter fragrance than some of the other romantic perfumes and colognes in the Giorgio Armani perfume line. It is a tad more sophisticated than old-world, which is a mark of the Giorgio Armani style. It includes some new modern fragrance notes like pink peppercorn and tangerine. The top notes for Armani Mania Summer are: Moroccan bay leaf, green mandarin orange, black currant, and pink peppercorns. The middle notes are: Muguet, peony, magnolia, and iris. The low notes are: cedar, amber, vanilla, musk, and white sandalwood. The scent can be classified as a woody floral scent.
This is a light, fresh scent that is perfect for the summer months. Spritz it on and you can wear it anywhere. It’s casual but a sophisticated fragrance that can be worn with pride. The scent is good enough to stand up to the summer heat and sun. It’s vanilla and musk notes lend for a sweet finish to this perfume. This is sensual only in that it makes you feel good. It’s not really a sexy evening scent. It does have a hint of the same base notes that makes the other Armani perfumes and colognes so alluring, but in a much lighter form. It is not over-powering and wears well.
Dunhill Pursuit For Men Review:
Dunhill was founded by Alfred Dunhill as a company that specialized initially in saddlery. The times changed, however, leading to the use of the motorcar instead of the horse as the preferred mode of transportation. Alfred Dunhill took the knowledge that his company had amassed in leather goods and changed the company’s focus to accessories for motorcars, like leather overcoats, goggles, car horns, and more. This began their long tradition of selling luxury items dedicated to men, which now includes fragrances. This company continues to reinvent itself and now also offers women’s fragrances too.
The expertise in men’s quality, luxury items extends to their fragrances. The scent is very masculine and even the advertising campaign seeks to attract men who want a more conventional, manly scent. It’s called the scent for men who crave adventure. It has patchouli, pepper, and cinnamon spice notes. It adds the requisite citrus notes along with some woodsy notes too. The bottle itself is broad-shouldered making you think of John Wayne, a man’s man with a big heart. It could best be described as an oriental spicy woody fragrance. The amber liquid is visible through the clear, glass bottle, which has little adornment.
This is a complex fragrance as well as an ultra-masculine scent. It is versatile enough to wear during the day with jeans, as it is to wear it to the office without too much trouble. People who love Dunhill scents will definitely love this elegant new fragrance too. It is long lasting but not too heavy. It’s character remains firm and robust throughout the day. It is classic Dunhill with the emphasis on casual elegance for the man about town. It will quickly become a favorite in your bath cabinet. It comes in a wide range of products from aftershave, shower breeze, deodorant, and eau de toilette.
Have you ever tried using scented body lotions ?
Well if not, you definitely should as body lotions contain way less alcohol (some are alcohol free) which is much better for your healthy looking skin than most of the fragrances, especially in a cold weather. It is good idea to find out if your favorite fragrance does not come in lotion, as most of the perfume designers make these.
Do you think scented lotion doensn’t have a strong enough scent?
Well give it a try, and you’ll be actually surprised, as some of the lotions smell even longer than Eau De Toilette’s or Eau De Parfums thank to its creamy texture that does not dry on your skin, plus your complexion is moisturized. It is recommended to try small amount of tester first, leave it on for some time and see if no irritation occurs.
Coco Chanel Body Lotions:
I highly recommend to try Chanel body lotions and scented face and body creams. They are all excellent, we have not even heard a single person with skin irritation’s or redness complain. Fragrances are distinctive and very long lasting as for skin care products.
Chanel Coco – classic and beautiful, very sensual scent, this lotion is strong enough to use for a night time as smell live is about 5-6 hours. Excellent texture, non oily, does not make your clothes look shiny
. As Chanel Coco perfume it has floral and amber notes. Truly classic.
Review for Thierry Mugler Angel Ice Cologne:
The Thierry Mugler line of fragrances launched a new fragrance called Angel Ice or Ice*Men. This men’s fragrance was released worldwide on April 2007 and is due to be introduced in the United States in September 2007. It comes from a long line of very popular fragrances with the Thierry Mugler name. The original Angel for women was the #1 fragrance in France in 1992 and within the top five in the United States. Most of the fragrances in the Thierry Mugler line have not strayed far from the formula that achieved them fame.
This fragrance uses the patchouli signature of other Angel scents to work its magic. However, the theme is one of freezing ice with a caffeine kick, like iced coffee with nutmeg. Some people refer to it as a glacial, spicy, wood fragrance due to the hint of coffee and nutmeg scents in it. The bottle itself evokes a frozen glacier with an oceanic blue hue to the entire presentation. The notes are citrus, aquatic, and spicy. There is little information on the top, middle, and low notes at this time.
This particular fragrance can be extreme, much like the packaging and namesake. It’s bound to have people who like it and those who can’t stand it. Much like all of Thierry Mugler’s extreme design concepts, this fragrance is one that is modern and trend setting. Some people think Ice For Men is very similar to Thierry Mugler’s A*Men in fragrance and that it just may be the same fragrance repackaged. If you like A*Men, you will like Ice*Men. This may be easier to wear during the day than at night. If you are a fan of Thierry Mugler fragrances be sure to add this one to your collection.
Review for Emporio Remix Cologne by Giorgio Armani:
Giorgio Armani remains a fashion designer best known for the business suits that carry his name. He has all sorts of business ventures from boutiques and jeans to home collections and clothing lines. He also has a line of fragrances. The Giorgio Armani style is one of luxurious and seductive elegance. One of these brands that he’s created is called Emporio Armani. The brand of Emporio Armani deals with ready-to-wear clothing, sunglasses, fragrances, watches, and accessories. The Emporio Armani is the mass produced version of the Armani custom line. It’s specifically targeted to younger people who may have fewer bucks to spend. It does offer some higher end products like Armani Jeans, but is not haute couture. You can often find Emporio Armani brand name products at high-end department stores.
This fragrance is classified as a fougere. It is a high-powered and dynamic scent that was inspired by the Fall-Winter collection, which featured the colors of midnight blue for him. The packaging and marketing evokes a night at the local discothèque, with midnight blue packaging and electrifying silver writing on the bottle. The top notes are: basil, cardamom, and bergamot. The middle notes are: lily of the valley and mace. The low notes are: vetiver, licorice, and white musk. The result is a remix that is distinctly masculine with a sweet and fresh twist.
Emporio by Giorgio Armani also created a matching Remix She for women. The idea was to pair the two fragrances for a wild night out on the town. The woman’s fragrance took the electric lavender color of the Fall-Winter collection as its base too. The two scents are said to be a duo that dance together very nicely. It makes a lovely and entertaining couples gift, for those of us who want to spend a night on the town.
Lacoste Inspiration Perfume Review:
Lacoste is a high-end company, which retails luxury goods. Some of their items are: perfumes, clothing, footwear, watches, eyewear, and watches. The logo is a green crocodile with the name “Lacoste” underneath. Although the company is French, the mark is well known in the United States. Tennis player Rene Lacoste, who began the company with a line of tennis shirts, founded Lacoste. The brand is equated with the preppy look.
Lacoste Inspiration for Women is a scent that caters to the free-spirited modern woman. It is a classic floral fragrance. The top notes are: pink peppercorn, pomegranate, plum, and mandarin zest. The middle notes are: Muguet, peony, jasmine, and tuberosa. The low notes are: white sandalwood, vanilla, musky accord, and iris. The scent is casual and good for everyday wear, much like the rest of the Lacoste line of products. The bottle was designed by a French design agency that was inspired to ride the edge between elegance and playfulness, with a flirty feel. It is a pleasing oblong thin-shaped perfume dispenser with a light blue liquid inside. It makes you think of a cloudless summer day when you might be up to some fun and frolic.
This is a good perfume for college-aged co-eds. It is very floral and light. There is nothing really unique about it, but it can be a very pleasing casual scent for every daywear. It would fit well with the Izod line of clothing from Lacoste and for times when you are outdoors and in a sporty and playful mood. The lightness of the scent makes it good for daytime wear, but not for evening. The idea is to wear this perfume for yourself, to celebrate your own independent spirit and femininity, and not exactly as a come-hither type of scent.
